1–2–3–4
Ingredients
1 cup butter
(1 package of 250 gram)
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
4 eggs
Cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
Powdered sugar
Preparation
Mix butter and sugar and stir until creamy. Mix flour and baking soda first, stir eggs well until smooth and then mix all up and stir until smooth. If required add some milk.
Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan.
Depending on your taste and gusto as well as how you want the cake to look like, add cocoa to the other half of the batter and stir well. Now pour the dark batter to the white one into the baking pan.
If you enjoy decorating here comes your chance! Let your imagination run wild to decorate the cake!
Our suggestion: Using a knife, swirl the cocoa batter into the white batter to incorporate it in a marble effect. Do not over mix or you won't have that wonderful marble affect.
Bake in preheated oven (200°C - gas stove level 4) for 20 minutes, then further 15 minutes at 180° C until an inserted wooden pick comes out clean. If still batter sticks on the pick just bake further at lower temperature.
At will dust with powdered sugar.
Bon Appetite!
